A scanned report has blank pages between chapters. A downloaded textbook includes 5 pages of promotional content at the start. A merged PDF accidentally duplicated the title page. PDFKits Remove Pages deletes unwanted pages from any PDF — in your browser, free, no signup, no upload. Visual thumbnails make it obvious which pages to remove.
This tool is a focused version of Rearrange PDF — when you don't need to reorder, just delete. Select pages by clicking thumbnails or by entering a page range ("3, 5-7, 12"). The output PDF has the selected pages permanently removed. Original quality, fonts, and embedded resources of remaining pages are preserved exactly.
Drop the file. PDFKits renders every page as a thumbnail with a checkbox.
Click thumbnails to toggle removal selection (red highlight on selected). Or use the page range input ("1, 3-5, 9") for quick bulk selection. Preview shows which pages will survive.
Click Remove. PDFKits writes a new PDF without the selected pages via pdf-lib. The slimmed file downloads instantly. Page numbers in the new PDF restart at 1 (the previous page 2 becomes page 1 if page 1 was removed).
Scanners often produce blank pages between feeds. Remove them so the document reads continuously.
Downloaded e-books and reports sometimes include ads or sponsor pages. Remove them for a cleaner reading experience.
Share part of a larger document with external parties by removing the pages they don't need (or shouldn't see).
A merged PDF unintentionally included a duplicate cover. Remove the extra to clean up.
Most online tools offer page removal as part of a freemium feature set with daily limits. PDFKits Remove Pages is free, with no limits, runs in your browser, preserves quality of remaining pages, and supports both visual and range-based selection.
Not from the output PDF alone. Keep a copy of the original if you might need the removed pages later.
Bookmarks pointing to deleted pages are dropped automatically. Bookmarks pointing to surviving pages remain functional.
Physical page positions update. If your PDF has visible page numbers added as content (not auto-generated by the viewer), those don't update — re-run our Page Numbers tool if you need them refreshed.
Not directly. Use Ctrl+F in our annotate or edit tool to find specific content first, identify which pages, then delete here.
Remove Pages keeps everything except the selected pages. Extract Pages does the opposite — keeps only the selected pages.
Unlock first with our Unlock PDF tool, then remove.
